Etagegenhu Mekonnen Aragaw Spent more than 10 years working as a journalist in the multimedia sector. She graduated her Master’s degree in public Relation and strategic communication and under graduate degree in Ethiopian Language and literature culture and communication from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Etagegenhu has tended her professional career in the public and private media sector pursuing reporting, researching, interviewing original sources and writing reports, , news editing, program production, managing digital media, hosting live radio program, fact-checking, producing TV and Radio programs, creating and developing digital media content to maximize the impact and potential of the media which she worked. Etagegenhu served as an editor – in – chief, content editor, producer and Host at EBS television – Ethiopia. She is the founder of Fidel Multimedia PLC. Fidel is an independent media company produce various TV documentaries and productions, radio programs and social media contents specially for CSOs. Under Fidel she founded Addis Gize digital media outlet focused on News, Investigative reporting, Fact checking, peace building, Human Rights, Gender, Press Freedom, political and economic issues. She is well - experienced in reporting, in the field as well as political and economic issues. Currently, Etagegenhu Mekonnen is an executive secretory of Coalition of Journalists for security (Ethiopia) and co-founder and executive member of the Ethiopian Mass Media Professionals Association (EMMPA).
